Trotwood Farm is located on 52 beautiful acres in Hickory Corners, Michigan - north of Kalamazoo and Battle Creek and due east of Plainwell. It was established in 2000 by the Rinehart Family. Daughter Lindsay Rinehart is an amateur who trains, shows and manages the breeding program at Trotwood.


Trotwood maintains a select breeding program of horses destined to wear roses in the ring. At the 2008 NSH Finals, 21 year old Lindsay brought 5 horses to show, and came home with  six National Championships and five Reserve National Championships.  With an average of 15 foals born per year, Trotwood Farm strongly focuses on "Quality not Quantity" in both the breeding and show string. Our breeding stock must maintain the conformation, motion, beauty, elegance and pedigree to produce show horses of the highest caliber. We offer talented horses suitable for riders of all levels of ability who will help them fulfill their ambitions in and out of the show ring.


Trotwood has marketed top notch show horses in many disciplines, including Park, English Pleasure, Country Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and Driving. Recent sales include multi-National Champion Western Pleasure Mi Maria+/,  National Champion Country Pleasure Nola HPA,  multi-National Champion NSH Halter and Fine Harness VSH Emminence, multi-National Champion Country Pleasure My Name Is Earl, National Champion Country Pleasure AOTR Nouve O Riche+/, etc.


Trotwood’s main focus is on producing the best Arabian and Half-Arabian performance horses, but we also offer Saddlebreds, Dutch Harness Horses, Crossbreds and National Show Horses to produce the ultimate saddle seat performers.
